Job Description
Understanding, advocating and supporting the enterprise's business and IT strategies.
Partner closely with technology team to ensure we deliver the right digital architectural strategies and outcomes that are strategically aligned across our business.
Design and prototype platform architectures to enable the digital adoption.
Work closely with the IT team, business teams, and supporting functions to create the next generation digital platforms to optimize efficiency and throughput for digital applications and will translate software development prototypes into product enabled components.
Develop a repeatable structured approach for capturing and describing the key enterprise views of Ace Digital information needs and enterprise business workflows.
Facilitate the development of Current State and Target Workflow and Information Architectures.
Manage and evolve Digital Workflow and Information Taxonomies (Cross-Functional workflows, Information, Functions, Process, Organizations,).
Develop and maintain analytical cross references linking information and workflows to business function, organization, business processes, data information systems, and information technology.
Provide input into the roadmaps for different business functions.
Assist in the coordination of data governance activities.
Develop and maintain an integrated, subject-oriented, predominantly conceptual enterprise data model that represents essential data produced and consumed across the enterprise.
Develop and maintain cross-references that map elements of the enterprise data model to organization, function, and process business models.
Being the subject matter expert in all the relevant technologies like Cloud, Big Data, IOT, etc.
Knowledge of frameworks like MEAN stack, Javascript frameworks like Node, React, opensource tools like Pentaho, Knowage, Linux, etc.
as well as end user computing.
Responsible for staying updated on technology trends and provide impact analysis on how it will impact the digital plans.
Prototyping, benchmarking and defined specifications of the digital platforms.
Accordingly, analyse and communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.
Work closely with the business team to execute projects within timelines and budget.
Support evaluation of vendor’s digital platform, architectures and propose the right solution that best fits customer’s business requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

Ability to operate in a start-up mentality and unstructured environment.
10+ years of experience working in enterprise architecture domain – specific focus on digital experience working on microservices, API, cloud native architecture, containers.
Strong knowledge and exposure in digital platforms supporting products in IOT, Mobile Apps, Big Data, Online, Social, Digital Analytics, Cloud Platforms and others.
Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in English a must.
Bahasa and Mandarin knowledge will be advantageous.
The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to business audiences.
Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information.
The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the workflow and information architecture.
Extensive experience in facilitating large groups of business and IT audiences through focused workshops.
Data modelling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level
Understanding of meta-models, taxonomies and ontologies, as well as the challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources
Ability to analyse project, program and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.
Effective conceptualization, pattern recognition and teaming skills.
Experience in security by design of platforms preferred.
Experience working in full stack JavaScript platforms.
Technically proficient in common cloud service-oriented platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google, others) highly desirable.
Preferred TOGAF certification for this role.
The candidate is required to do code review for AACP, FIOC and ASP/SOVD.
Process manufacturing technology & system exposure for Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Palm Oil refining and Viscose Fibre Manufacturing will be a bonus.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software engineering/computer science/ MIS/Engineering or related discipline.
